Julie Breton

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Julie Breton is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is supervised by Dr. Simone Kortstee, Ph.D., C. Psych, a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). Julie provides individual psychotherapy services to children and youth experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, behavioural issues, and emotional regulation concerns.

Julie is a compassionate and empathetic therapist who is committed to fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. She values the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship and strives to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and free from judgment.

Julie’s approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Humanistic approaches. She also incorporates mindfulness-based techniques into her sessions to support clients in developing self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is fulfilling her practicum requirements at Connections Psychology, where she works with children and youth experiencing a wide range of difficulties under clinical supervision.
